Now that the 4th of July is over. I've been reflecting on celebration. Years ago there was a very popular song “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang. Awe I may have gone back a little too far. Every time it played the dance floor would get full and we were celebrating! And now that the song is over and the dance floor is clear. Who's celebrating you?
I’ve learned, there will be times when nobody will celebrate with you and you have to learn to encourage yourself. Learn to be like David of the Bible, and encourage yourself in the Lord when there is no one left. When was the last time you celebrated you? What steps (small ones count) have you taken towards your goal? If it’s been a while since you haven't celebrated YOU and you don’t know where to start, I'd love to be part of your journey to celebration.
Quote for Inspiration:
6 And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul,[a] each for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. 1 Samuel 30:6
