How do you start your day?
Trip to Hawaii | Anita Ford Vargas
This morning like yesterday morning I woke up to the song "Way maker" on my mind. What a way to start my day! The song stayed with me so much all day that I shared it with my "Mom Squad" as my granddaughter calls my sister friends. So much so that I even decided to listen to it in Spanish. After all one of my goals this year is to learn Spanish. Let me just tell you I need a little more practice before taking my show on the road lol. Most mornings, I wake up with either with a song or a dream. I am sure that it doesn't hurt that I am on a 6:00 a.m. prayer call 5 days a week with my church as we prepare for the GSC Women's conference and on a 40 day prayer challenge with a group of sister friends on Facebook live 7 days a week (By the way, I love them dearly and I've never met any of the face to face). Wow! what a difference I am beginning to see in me and others as we connect with God first thing in the morning. It helps to keep me grounded in my thoughts and behavior, and reminds who I am.
God is good like that He gives you the right people for the right time in your life. Resources are unlimited in God and sometime come to us in the most unconventional ways, like Facebook live or telephone prayer groups. Although, I am speaking to my ladies, I know many of you may be married, these resources are not just limited to women only. My husband is also connecting with men through a connect group at church who are also doing a 40 day challenge.
So why wouldn't I wake up worshiping the Lord in song? Not that I don't have my share of life challenges just like you do because I do (did I mention that I have a teenager I home?) Nevertheless, I am grateful for the guidance that God has given me to deal with my challenges.
What about you? How are you waking up each morning and facing your challenges?

Yes, I am the vine' you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For a part from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 NLT version
